If you are using Microsoft Windows 10, you must have noticed
that this operating system automatically downloads software updates. Whenever
Microsoft releases a new update of Windows 10, Windows 10 downloads the updates
by default without having to tell the user. Although updated, it is good to
use, but due to this, a lot of Internet data is spent. It's a worrying reason
for those who have limited internet data. Many times the PC restarts to install
the update and there are other problems that may be time-consuming for
upgrading. Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 have the option to turn off automatic
updates but windows 10 have not.
But there is
a way to see it
Go to the search box in Windows 10, type services then press
enter.
Then just such a window will open.
Then double-click the Windows Update window to open a window
like this below.
Startup Type: Disable, click Apply and then Ok, get out.
Check that automatic updates are turned off.
